Thursday night in Brazil sees Atletico Mineiro play host to Mexican minnows Tijuana in the Copa Libertadores, with the last 16 tie locked at 2-apiece after the first leg.
Looking to help their team gain any advantage possible for the visit of the Xolos, Atletico Mineiro’s fans have begun encouraging their supporters to turn up to the game wearing the horror mask from the movie Scream.
20,000 Atletico-MG fans are rumoured to turn up to the match wearing the intimidating masks, which neatly complement the club’s black and white strip.
Below is a copy of the online flyer being passed around the Atletico Mineiro supporters, along with a mocked-up image of what the view in the stands could look like.

This could be worth watching just for the effect....Anyone keep tabs on these two teams regarding team news? Home team looks a banker looking at home record from last year in league. Any thoughts on this one from the followers of this comp?

Was thinking of placing a decent bet on home side,but just read a low scoring draw would suit home team, also the fact that a free money banner has just hit the thread, and that usually puts the kiss of death on any bets on here. Could do with some free money, but not sure which route to go.

Wouldn't describe the team that won the Mexican Apertura last year as "minnows". Played quite well this tourney as well from what I've seen.
Atletico MG should be too good for them though. Shame it's level on aggregate, otherwise it would be a hell of a lot more interesting. |

All but one of Atletico's Copa games this year have been overs, and that one was a dead rubber and a bit dodgy to boot.
Overs seems like the shout if you follow the stats. Can't see them sitting back somehow, hopefully they'll get a couple early so I can go to bed |

yeah joe, you called it to be fair. didnt bother watching it. when they face genuine quality they struggle, had a fairly soft path to the quarters which prob masked their poor performances to the untrained eye
