How the hell did chelsea win this? Why am I red?

Have the Benfica strikers ever played football before?

tbf Chelsea didn't play a damn **** either.

An oh so random goal from torres and a corner kick doesn't erase what they didn't do all game.

I only saw lampard play for chelsea...

Monster chance for 2-2. I thought he was definitely going to score. Can't believe he's not netted that, was so slow to move on to the chance, was a sitter, Ivanovic had missed it and the ball was sitting there to be smashed in, guess he was genuinely cramping earlier.

Benfica are cursed.

After the 1962 final Guttmann approached the Benfica board of directors and asked for a pay rise, but, despite the success he had bought the club, he was turned down. On leaving Benfica he allegedly cursed the club, declaring "Not in a hundred years from now will Benfica ever win a European Cup". Despite being finalists on five occasions – 1963, 1965, 1968, 1988 and 1990 – Benfica have never since won any European Championship. Before the 1990 final, which was played in Vienna, where Guttmann was buried, Eusébio even prayed unsuccessfully at his grave and asked for the curse to be broken.

cramp or not, Cardozo is generally slow, just with a massive left foot striking.

Only thing keeping him in Benfica.
