Everyone knows that Bulgarian Football is fixed, I worked in Sofia with an ex Slavia Sofia player who told me the team often lost games on purpose because they were told to do so by the club owners, also I was told the Bulgarian lottery is fixed too, Miss Bulgaria was won by a girl a couple of years back because her russian boyfirned payed 2  0 grand to the organizers of the competition to make sure she got the title. CORRUPTION, CORRUPTION, CORRUPTION....!!!!!! No wonder big companies are pulling out of Bulgaria after threats to the life of senior executives for not paying backhanders to the ahem...right people.taken from CJ's link ...............  |

i always thought it was fairly common knowledge Bulgaria was corrupt.
A referee was banned earlier this season for disallowing a perfectly good last minute equaliser for Litex in a game against Levski. Then a month later another ref was banned for a poor performance and dodgy decisions in a game.........again it was in favour of Levski v litex! |
