Sunderland to meet Stoke at Stadium of Light. Both the sides are all but safe in this moment. Stoke are looking better with 40 points in 35 games played while Sunderland are in danger with 37 points. Obviously pressure will be on Di Canio's players. They are coming after a shock 6:1 defeat away to Aston Villa and I do not know what to expect from them today. They need to win in order to increase their chances of staying in Premier League but they are facing some problems before this crucial match. Sassegnon and Fletcher are out. They will be hard to replace. Sunderland is one of the worst scoring teams in Premier League and if they have to play without 2 players that add creativity to Sunderland's play I believe it is a serious blow. Pressure is on home side, 2 good players are out, Stoke do not need to win they only need a draw but considering the circumstances an away win is not at all excluded.

Probably a draw tonight, Stoke don't do well at Sunderland I remember Stoke playing well and losing there before.
And that was on a monday night.

Sunderland beat Stoke today, and they go ABOVE Stoke, up 6 places from 17th to 11th!!

Captain, Stoke score two goals away from home every time Halley's Comet comes round.

I didn't necessarily say we'd be scoring all of the goals Joci Wink Not very often have we played such an attacking line up away, no doubt Pulis is looking to take advantage of a terrible Sunderland defence.

backing under 2.5 in this game, i feel it would be defensive game tonight, good luck all Cool

will be a tight start but any goal will open this game up immensely. Going for 0-0 looking to trade around 20 mins or so in, will hop on the overs then if that goes according to plan.

Stoke have had some tough away games recently. I know they don't score many but reckon they are a decent bet tonight. Every time I've seen Sunderland this season they have been quite frankly pathetic, including twice when they've played 10 men for over an hour and not looked like winning.

dunno thats why layed the 0-0 instead of backing sunderland.

its just short enough to make it layable in a tight match.
may trade a loss if its 0-0 at half time, depends how the game goes.
