1-1, it's often like this. An equilibrium that no one wants to disturb, no one wants to lose. I would advocate (along with goal-line technology) that at this stage of the match, a small electrical charge should be administered to the shorts waistband of said reluctant fellows, as in an errant dog's collar, to spur them on a bit. The voltage could be increased as needed. No doubt those do-gooders at the health and safety would intervene, although I think the FA would approve.
