Why do all the other fixtures go to pot to allow sub-standard players to disgrace themselves all over the world? I coulf form a team from my street to whup San Marino. As to the bigger teams we have no chance of competing with them. Are we actually obliged to enter an England team in these competitions? If not, why not just fold the team now?

Really, though, how difficult is it? Most bookies had clean sheet bets on offer for England at odds of 1.25 and above, I was lucky enough to get on at 1.44. You have Holland and Germany in action against mug sides, I don't understand why some punters don't plow in.

It's the lack of fixtures rather than the international games being harder to read. I'm quite interested in the Dog & Duck reserves v Carphone Warehouse XI but I've found myself on games that not even I'd look at normally.
