Similarly, Scottish teams seem to think the way forward is to get player on free transfers from English teams, rather than going with the kids. It's one vicious ****g circle.

There is players at scottish teams who have played 100-200 games and only 25-26 and polayed for under 21s and get nowhere near this team.
Strachan hasnt even changed the team since Levein.To be honest i dont care but its a pity for the people that have followed this team for years.Its the same fkcing players since the last 4 failed tournaments. |

Yep, was genuinely exciting to watch. Would have fitted right into the team we had in the early 90s. Feels like a lifetime ago.

Strachan has to take part of the blame. We are shiite. So set up to protect and hope for a fuucking break. 4-4-1-1 with fuucking McArthur and Dorrans centre mid? Our defence is fuucking useless so either play 3 in the middle or 2 sitting midfielders. Bridcutt the lad at Brighton is a proper sitting midfielder but he doesn't play. Mental.
McGregor - never lets us down. Hutton - Was an ok attacking full back who was shiite at defending. Now he does fuuck all in attack and is still shiite at defending. Hanley - Fat fuuck. Caldwell - Donkey. Useless fuucking donkey. Mulgrew - No left back and not good enough anyway. Burke - Anonymous Dorrans - Soft as shiit the odd bit of skill not good enough. McArthur - Overran with no help. Still not good enough. Snodgrass - Headless chicken at times but done ok bar the total fuuck up. Maloney - Tried his best. Miller - A fuucking striker that never scores. But runs around a lot. Bloody brilliant. It's over. We are fuucking doomed. |

There are very few risk takers in football now. No wonder the game is boring as fck. Apart from the Germans, they don't give a f*ck how old, they just keep churning out good players. 9 of the 14 players they used tonight were under 25. |

Says it all that that **** Mulgrew was SPL player of the year last year. It's getting harder and harder to defend our league against the Englanders on here.
On the safety first angle - I've taken Milla Jr to four Dons games this year. 0-0. 0-0. 0-0. 1-1  Amazingly he still wants to go back. I'm raising a masochist. I dread to think what the crowds will be like when the pensioners start dying. |

What I don't get is what the fuuck are we doing?
You see your Macedonia's, Georgia's, Estonia's etc they can all do the basics of pass and move. You see when they play us they always look the more technical side. For some reason our players panic when anyone gets within 5 yards of them and boot it anywhere. No composure. No belief. Just fuucking fear. |

When I was 9 we were winning a cup double, beating both the (then) Old Firm in the final and on our day the best team in the land. Changed days. I'm just thankful he's not seen us lose yet, he's the closest thing to a good luck charm |

Both goals came down Mulgrews side,hes a liability against any winger with pace.
As for Hutton on the other side ,he is simply atrocious,cant even get into a bad villa side. In the middle Caldwell is just a fkn joke. Could go on and on but Strachan needs to start picking players with a future instead of the same old sh1te. Actually thought Snodgrass was one of our better players but a blind man could tell he was going to get sent off after the booking. |

Griffiths is a complete ****. And he looks like a thumb.
He's the kind of player I'd love to see playing for us though - he doesn't hide and actually makes things happen. Safety first though - why take a chance? It'll be 7-3-0 against the SErbs on Tuesday. If only Niall McGinn was Scottish, there's a place on the bench readymade for him. |

Well you've got Griffiths who scores goals, you've got Rhodes who scores goals, you've even got Mackail-Smith who scores goals..........but you play Miller because he runs around a lot.

And that is exactly whats wrong with us in a nutshell.
Same with my team, we have players banging in the goals in the U20s. Do they get a sniff of the first team? Do they baws. People in charge seem to have forgotten the game is about scoring ****g goals. |

You have to wonder how good the SPL is though. You have the likes of Billy Mackay looking like Romario and he came from the bottom league in England. There are loads of players up here that have come from there and are doing well. The managers get praise for finding them but does it not just say our league is pish? Griffiths deserves a chance but is he really any good?
