Yes, but does the small bank building outweigh the small % chance of loss? I wouldn't wish to risk £1k to randomly find out.

Tonight of course we have Barcelona, but 1.01...no way. My last bet of the night sees me visiting the origins or mario and luigi, we head to italy- not a great place for goals usually, but I fancy this game. Roma vs Parma..Roma have the highest GPG in the league and havent had a 0-0 this season. They have scored in all home games with only 3 clean sheets, parma have had no cleen sheets away and failed to score in 5 from 14. Both of parmas 0-0's have been at home holding teams. I have an emphasis on Roma to score in this one, but keeping 3 clean sheets is poor so parma can also score. Lets wait and see

I accept you mostly will win. However, you will not win all the time. How many times are you comfortable risking that £1k for approximately 5% of your stake, less commision? Of course you have an edge in all games but is it worth the risk long term? |

If you have an edge in all games, i.e your research is strong and every bet is at a better price than it should be, then you have edge in the long term.
You don't have to win every bet, even at odds this short. YOu just have to win more than you lose, play the long game. |

You can research till the cows come home and I respect everyone who does. Chance, fate, luck etc are completely outwith our control and risking a relatively large amount (for the ordinary punter) to win a very small fraction again and again seems very risky. |
