Because as your keeper has said they are playing the best footy in the country. Spurs have had a lot of luck to be where they are, and their goal difference suggests a lot of tight wins. Liverpool are purring like a super charged Bentley GT and are on the brink fo greatness once more. Suarez is the best player in the league and with Couthino & Sturridge with Lucas & Gerrard behind there is ammunition aplenty and they are scoring goals for fun.Spurs are Spurs, mediocre. One man team really and keep Bale quiet (no easy taks granted) and their is not a lot else up top with Defoe injured.
12 points ahead of a very average Liverpool team yet Pool are heavy favourites. I'm a little bit confused.

Apart from Swansea ltg? Can't argue with that Berto. We are always too short, so pointless arguing otherwise. I do think we are bit closer to spurs than the table suggests mind.
Agree with that CCM. On current form I'd say the two teams were fairly evenly matched, the main difference being Spurs ability to win when playing below their best at times (a very welcome trait or any team) and Liverpool failing to convert good performances into points against top teams. It should be a cracking game.

i,d have us about 2.35 for this one, dont tnink we should be odds on, even if we are playing quite well lately
Albeit against the Swansea reserves and a Wigan side who lose almost all of theit home games.
. Top 10 would be progress loui.

no we,re 1.38 then. liverpool layers have took a pounding lately, them draws are becoming wins, so watch out we,re due to beat a top 5 side and hopefully it will be sunday, and i wont be betting on this one, ok maybe a fun 1st scorer bet for a laugh. saying that though spurs are playing well too 9well baley is anyway)
Liverpool backers generally don't understand this. Layers won't be down because you need 3/4 Liverpool wins against Swansea Res/Wigan to make back what you lost at West Brom.
It's a no brainer.

Liverpool may win (i make them favs @2.50) but 1.88 is really one of the worst prices of the season. If Liverpool & Spurs were equal, then, with home advantage , 2.20 would about be the right price. But how can anyone see Liverpool as equal to Tottenham? 2010~ Spurs 7pts above Liverpool2011~ Spurs 4pts above Liverpool2012~ Spurs 17pts above Liverpool2013~ Spurs 12pts above LiverpoolAnd Spurs ,by pretty much anyone's account right now ,have a stronger team now than in any of those previous seasons. But Liverpool aren't just seen ,absurdly , as just as good as Spurs (and hence 2.20) they are seen as comfortably superior , as a home team 1.88 has to be !The only explanation i can think of is people who are aware Bale is suspended for the booking think he misses next match (this one) rather than the Europa 2nd leg
tobermory sums it up pretty well there.

not 1 person on our thread has said we deserved 3 ptsnot many people on this planet would share your views of the penand FYI if you watch the game on MOTD2 you'll see sturridge blatantly yanked over in 1st half and a pen not given when defender was worried he would get on the end of a cross.apart from that you are spot on
fair play to you, only seen 2nd half, didn't bet
