Pool do seem to raise their game against their superiors
That doesnt make any sense? If we beat man c, chelsea and ars and lost to wigan and norwich, it would make sense. if we were playing the same game week in week out and we were a mid table side (or a top 4 side with a bottom 4 side manager) then the run of results we have had this season is exactly what you would expect to observe. |

no we,re 1.38 then. liverpool layers have took a pounding lately, them draws are becoming wins, so watch out we,re due to beat a top 5 side and hopefully it will be sunday, and i wont be betting on this one, ok maybe a fun 1st scorer bet for a laugh. saying that though spurs are playing well too 9well baley is anyway)

If the match is priced to around 100%, then if this is not attractive, something has to be?? |

Loui - Liverpool have won only 3 of their last 8. I'd say the layers have done okay.

Perhaps there is an element of Spurs having played tonight built into the price.
Top 5. . Top 10 would be progress loui. ![]() |

its just a coincidence imo that we havent beaten a top 10 team, man u at home rd card cost us a win, all over them with 10 men, 2-0 up at aesenal blew it, beat everton 3-2 away referee said no to good goal, man city away, took a wonder goal frm aguero to bail city out, same at anfield against city, an early xmas present from skrtel gave them a point. im not bothered whatsoever by not beating top 5(or 10 even sol), thinks its just a freak of nature

Liverpool may win (i make them favs @2.50) but 1.88 is really one of the worst prices of the season.
If Liverpool & Spurs were equal, then, with home advantage , 2.20 would about be the right price. But how can anyone see Liverpool as equal to Tottenham? 2010~ Spurs 7pts above Liverpool 2011~ Spurs 4pts above Liverpool 2012~ Spurs 17pts above Liverpool 2013~ Spurs 12pts above Liverpool And Spurs ,by pretty much anyone's account right now ,have a stronger team now than in any of those previous seasons. But Liverpool aren't just seen ,absurdly , as just as good as Spurs (and hence 2.20) they are seen as comfortably superior , as a home team 1.88 has to be ! The only explanation i can think of is people who are aware Bale is suspended for the booking think he misses next match (this one) rather than the Europa 2nd leg ![]() |

Don't forget André Vilas Boas is a man of big games. Usually he is well prepared for the big games, and put their teams mentally strong...and win a lot of them.
Just look at stats, when their teams are in shape, he have won ( specially in Portugal) almost every big games. And in Porugal, a team winning all classics and teams in form is difficult too. And at the moment, Spurs are getting stronger, and stronger... |

No result would surprise me, but I'm backing us (Spurs) coz I think our price is quite big. We are good at getting wins on the road this season.

humble pie??? The thread was not saying that it was impossible for Liverpool to win just that they were a stupid price .Didn't see anything in the game to change my view on that.
|

By:
you'll seldom find a more undeserving victory.
|
|
By:
1.) the price was poor and frequently is for us at home
2.) spurs scored 1 good goal and got 1 gift from us 3.) spurs gave us 2 gifts in return 4.) it's about time we beat someone 'undeservedly' makes up for the countless pts we haven't woin when we have been the better side. we need to stop giving away such poor goals like the 2nd, fair enough delivery was brilliant on the 1st but the 2nd was very average, we just won't get CL football in the coming seasons if we keep giving away soft goals like that from any ball tossed in. |

You're feeding off scraps today CC
![]() Must be tough trying to console yourself in a fortunate Liverpool VICTORY, whwn your boys got HUMPED yet again today! |

liverpool fans, gotta love them
they define the word delusional, carrying on in their thread like they deserved to win, please Suarez took a top draw dive and their 2nd goal was a hand over |
|
By:
not 1 person on our thread has said we deserved 3 pts
not many people on this planet would share your views of the pen and FYI if you watch the game on MOTD2 you'll see sturridge blatantly yanked over in 1st half and a pen not given when defender was worried he would get on the end of a cross. apart from that you are spot on |
|
By:
and as for you not having a bet thats a 100/1 shot in my book that that's true.
|
|
By:
I know we lost (and so did my bet!) but I think today's price for a Spurs win was a good one, and the game showed that imo.
|
|
By:
You can do all the research you want but sometimes a poor team will go against the form and pick up a shock result.
|
|
By:
Liverpool's best result all season and the first time they've won against a top ten team 9discounting Swansea reserves). Spurs had three points in the bag but threw them away.

probably was a pen because of the contact made but gee whiz, he carried on a bit

was quite impressed with spurs, they look a strong team with a good future providing bale stay of course. the game was unfortunately decided by mistakes in the end, but i,ll take these 3 points gratefully. we,ve had a lot of games this term were we havent got the points e deserved. thats 4 wins on the bounce for the liverpool layers. west brom winnings are well gone now. hope it gets to the point we,re the layers become backers, then we know we,re doing something right.

Can't understand most of this. As stated a couple of times below, spurs played an intense game on Thursday while Lpool
could plan all week for Spurs. OK, Spurs did play well on the day and probably should have won but they tired a little as you'd expect and concentration levels wasn't at the usual levels (much like Manu vs Chelsea) Overall seemed a spot on price although would agree that generally the LP price is way too short. |
