DUNDEE play Morton on Sunday.

I was about to post that dundee are f*cking awful and wouldn't back them at evens at home to 11 betfair forumites.

But it's actually Dundee United, so it's a lot different.

Tough one to call, Rangers are not a **** 3rd div team really are they, they have a few players who are easily SPL level and United haven't won at home since August.

in that case they are overdue in my book

the rangers are slightly above 3rd division level but still poor.

Dundee Utd are a different class to them.

They also have a new manager who they will try and impress.

Finally because chuckles green took the huff and refused any away tickets ,the rangers will have less than 300 fans behind them.

some utter nonsense spouted by thebrave!  the boycott was always going to result in more home fans attending - the point was to minimise Rangers money going into their coffers AND to stand up for the principle of compensation for late call offs which affects many clubs and especially in the case the late call off could have been totally foreseen as was 100% the case for the game in question.  I thought all you lot were up for principles!

how much have you put up as a lay on Rangers?
By:

What you on about Gordon?

The reason chuckles is boycotting the game is because Utd voted against them and were pretty vocal against them.

chuckles has no principles,it was only done to pander to the lowest of humanoids.

look most of the clubs voted against them - IMO it should never have come to the clubs to vote, if the SFA had bollocks then it was clear the rules were broken and the consequences were clear - can't remember a vote when Livi or Gretna went into administration?  the fact that Utd chairman was more vocal in the press was an irritant - the boycott is primarily because of long standing issue associated with a late call off and Utd refusing to pay compensation for the 1000s of away fans already in that s***hole of a place.  I think Green jumped on the bandwagon (as he has done on a few occasions) but as with Whyte/Murray, the fans IMO should care less who the Chairman is and rather that the Board of Directors, corporate governors and regulators of both Football and Limited Companies do their jobs properly.

gordon - You may be the one talking p1shConfused
As I understand it the boycott was all to do with a response to all those SPL clubs who did not support the quite ludicrous notion that the hun tribute band should be parachuted straight back into the top division, having shafted everybody in their wakeShocked Crazy

Game or games being called off because of heavy snow etc, were clearly a conspiracy by the Arabs to defraud the bearz - shocking behaviour Crazy Confused

Sevco would be around the level of Falkirk or so perhaps ?

When: 01 Feb 13 16:50
Evens United a terrific bet, should be nearer the 4/6 mark.
Daly and Russell against a very poor Sevco defence, fill yer boots.
Only downside is Norris as ref, ex season ticket holder at Greyskull even worse than Collum if that's possible.

Dundee united should be far too strong, agree evens is a good bet. Doubt it will be that price come kick off

United are hopelessly inconsistent. Not won at home in SPL for months.
By:

Is that right?

How can they appoint a ref who was once a Rangers season ticket holder?

rangers are not only 3rd division but are a 3rd division side with several first team players missing.

ignore the bigoted comments on here about refs.
dundee utd should win this easily.

Careful with this one. Dundee Utd are rank this season. Remember Sevco beat Motherwell, and the steelmen are much better than Utd.

Sevco are rank,  Utd are almost certain to win.  Fill yer boots and stick it to the plastic nigels.

ICT gave Rangers 3 this season, Montrose drew one each with Rangers at Ibrox last week. Rangers win over Motherwell came at Ibrox (Stuart Mccoll Motherwell manager)

Dundee united have a lot of players that can hurt Rangers, Daly, Russel for starters and are BETTER man for man all over the pitch.

Take the name Rangers away and united are 1/2 shots.  Win or lose united are fantastic value. All imo of course

if dundee utd are odds on why is it easier to lay rangers @ 12.5 for the cup than dundee u @ 12?

When: 02 Feb 13 12:31
Who knows, who cares, Utd are, as has been said 1/2 shots in reality.

The jutes have sold 10,000 tickets, their player will be up for it.

Sevco are in for an unhappy, uncomfortable day.

And we get to make money at the same time.  Cool

Sevco's away form is abysmal though. Given the opposition they have been playing and the fact that even in away games they have had more fans than home fans it really is poor.
