Well the first thing that jumps out at me about this game is why are Rochdale so short in the betting.
Current Odds:

Cheltenham- 2.16
Rochdale- 3.80
Draw- 3.65

My only answer to this is the odds are based on early season form as apart from a good win away at Bradford just after Christmas, their overall form is pretty poor at the moment. Here are their last five League Two away games:

Dagenham & Redbridge    2-1    Rochdale
Bradford City    2-4    Rochdale
Burton Albion    3-2    Rochdale
Aldershot Town    4-2    Rochdale
Southend United    3-1    Rochdale

A record of One win and Four defeats. Another interesting point is they are clearly not shy in going forward as they have managed to find the net 10 times in those Five games. Unfortunately it looks as though when they push forward, their defenders go AWOL as during this period, they have conceded 14 goals and therefore giving away almost an average of 3 goals per game.

Cheltenham on the other hand look a pretty solid outfit at home as their last five Home games suggest:

Cheltenham Town    1-1    York City
Cheltenham Town    4-0    Wycombe Wanderers
Cheltenham Town    1-1    Port Vale
Cheltenham Town    1-0    Barnet
Cheltenham Town    1-0    Burton Albion

A record of Three victories, Two draws and No defeats. In fact looking at Cheltenham's overall record this season, it can be seen that when playing at Home, they have tightened up their defence considerably since the opening few games of the season. From everything i have looked at, i can only come to the conclusion that Cheltenham have a big edge in this game. My own odds for this game are as follows:

Cheltenham- 1.82
Rochdale- 5.7
Draw- 3.55

So for me there is value to be had in backing Cheltenham, and there is also value for anyone who fancies the draw. However i think the biggest difference to me has to be in the price of Rochdale who i would have somewhere near 5/1 yet currently are around 11/4. I have to Lay them at these odds and Lay them big imo. I will also lay them if they should take the lead in the first half.

Best of Luck to anyone having a bet on this game Happy

Actually , just before the Bradford game we beat Cheltenham 4-1 at home , probably our best performance of the season , and , according to Cheltenhams manager , their worst . With Keith Hill back in the fold ( whatever that means ) , we will be no push over tonight . Rochdale have already improved their squad ,with a signing of a winger of high quality ( for League 2 ) Dale are more than confident of getting a result tonight .

As for 5-1 Rochdale ??? , what drugs are you on ???

Well not too many worrying moments there tbh, Cheltenham's defence stifling the Rochdale attack and on the whole restricting them to more long range efforts than anything. A pretty dire game to sit through but a very pleasing result nonetheless. Happy

Clearly on the right drugs, unlike the "men" at Rochdale FC.

Uptheboro ... you are obviously a form student , but , you need to look back in a teams form to sort out your bets .You are a guesser ,( correct ) you didn't take in that Rochdale had a new manager . As my wife says " your **** useless "
