I like the guy and have stuck with him. He was shiiting himself throughout and didn't have a clue (again) the scene at the start where Villa came out to that amazing noise and continental style atmosphere he just looked in  nervous awe, this man can't install confidence in players if he looks terrified all the time. A classic case of a club being to big for a manager. He needs to go if Villa have any chance of staying up. Even Mcleish would have won that tie.

Not a massive club, haven't been for years.  This has been coming, Lambert is the least of their problems.

Have to agree .....I backed Villa to qualify tonite but this isnt pocket talk reaction...Villa looked absolutely devoid of ideas 2nd half nobody looked like they had a clue where they supposed to be playing...I can barely remember the Bradford keeper makin a save 2nd half when it should have been like the Alamo..Darren Bent is a joke he had 30 mins against a league 2 side and didnt do a tap....he doesnt want to play for Lambert and actually after the way hes been left out u can understand without condoning it...if Lambert stays they are going down

Villa were a big club. Look at Leeds, they were also a big club.

Classic case of hitting out at the manager to hide the fact that the players aren't experienced and aren't pulling their weight. The Villa job isn't that much bigger than the Norwich job, and he has a track record of being an excellent manager. You can replace as many managers as you want, you'll still be playing Bradford next year.

Ops. Sorry, I meant this year. And losing.

Let's not forget they narrowly avoided relegation last season.

Difficult pinning that on Lambert. Sh!t then, sh!t now.

How on earth can he play those two young full backs? The Bradford players looked better than them.

Bradford just sat deep and narrow and showed the ball out wide where those two full backs could do nothing.

That would be Champions League winning and many old firm match playing Paul Lambert Laugh I'm sure he was shiiting it Laugh

Could it be he got lucky at Norwich with his buy hungry young lower league players and its just not worked at Villa?

^ I watch Livingston now and then and said as much a couple of years ago because he was decidedly average with them, think he was married to one of the backroom suits,ex celtic manager whose name escapes me ?

Lambert just seemed to panic after Bradford scored. It's never the answer to just send on every forward you've got when you need a goal. All they do is get in each other's way.

Also too far too long to switch N'Zogbia from the right. Every time he got it you knew he was going to come inside.

Tbh i thought Lambert should have been given his marching orders after the Chelsea debacle. I could not believe his tactics in that game which were possibly the most naive i have ever seen. Maybe he should stick to X Box and Championship manager!!

He has to go! His tactics after the equaliser were shocking, he just threw on all our forwards and we had no wingers......completely pointless! We hardly created a chance since their goal which says it all! This guy hasnt got a clue, we are shocking in defence and midfield but all this guy wants to do it throw everyone forward in a bid to get more goals than the other team!

To lose to a league 2 team over 2 legs is a disgrace, if he is still in charge tomorrow i'll be shocked and very disappointed!
