Again i reckon the bookies have got this right to some extent, the only difference for me is i would possibly have had Aldershot slightly shorter and Northampton slightly bigger given Northampton's recent away performances.

Aldershots Last five League Two Home games:

Aldershot Town    2-0    Accrington Stanley
Aldershot Town    2-2    Bristol Rovers
Aldershot Town    4-2    Rochdale
Aldershot Town    1-3    Port Vale
Aldershot Town    0-2    Bradford City

Two wins, Two defeats and One draw

As for the Cobblers, their recent Away record in League Two is:

Chesterfield    3-0    Northampton Town
Torquay United    1-1    Northampton Town
Oxford United    2-1    Northampton Town
Accrington Stanley    2-4    Northampton Town
York City    1-1    Northampton Town

Just the One win with Two defeats and Two draws to their name.

That to me suggests it is difficult to split them as a choice for who will win the game, and at the time of posting the odds are:

Aldershot- 2.7
Northampton- 2.84
Draw- 3.5

So i am struggling to see any real value betting in this market. However One thing that is noticeable are the number of goals each side has been scoring and conceding. I do think looking at each sides recent record, there is every possibility of a high scoring game here so i was surprised to see the odds in the Over 2.5 market which currently are:

Unders- 1.83
Overs- 2.16

Given each sides capabilities of both scoring and leaking goals at a fairly high rate the 6/5 available for over 2.5 here looks very good value and will probably be my best bet here.

I cant quite bring myself to back Aldershot at 2.7 even though i think they just have the edge. I think i would rather have a small bet in the correct score market of 3-2 which should be able to get matched in excess of 40 on here.

Best of Luck if having a bet on this gameHappy

It is strange Nellie and how often it occurs with some teams. At home Northampton do indeed have the best overall record in this division but on the road they seem to have a defence like a sieve and at the moment there seems no sign of it tightening up. I would be surprised if Aldershot cannot take advantage of this. Their last three home games have been a drastic improvement on what had gone before.
