lets be vhonest bradfords goalie didnt have much to do in the first half and almost fk all to do in the second.you can sort of understand them going thru butit shoulda needed all sorts of saves by the goalie and luck and near misses but it wsnt the case

sorry guys, but this story that someone has laid Bradford to win the cup for £29,970 to win £30 just does not stack up.
They would have to be very stupid  or a premiership footballer - would that be both? - as even in these days of very low intrest rates, there is more 'profit' at no risk by just putting the money in the Building Society for a couple of months instead. |

EdwardnoWood or wtf hes called made some smart @rsed remark on my United Liverpool thread couple weeks bakc when i highlighted the value at evens on United in that game..he made some genius comment ridiculing my comparison to West Broms price asking me with disdain when West Brom would ever perform better at OT than ANY liverpool team....after I respectfuly pointed out West Brom had a superior record over their last 7 (now 8) premier league games at OT than Liverpool he disappeared and didnt reappear after the bet was landed....now after this goes down up he pops....like an insect buzzing around on a summers day...cant cause u any harm but an irritation nonetheless

He's gone full circle...I used to think he was a **** but he's actually fairly entertaining in a sort of stand back and watch a madman at work sort of way.
I'd like to say I'd make the same bet again but when you look at the likes of Bent who really wasn't bothered makes it hard. |

I posted on another thread that at 1-0 I briefly considered covering my stake but could only see 1 outcome so didnt . Bent was a complete embarrassment hes obviously just picking his money up. Never thought I would see a premier league side so devoid of ideas quality and character as Villa were after it went 1-1 but you live and learn

I can certainly imagine a Bradford fan backing their team at 1,000 for a few quid at the beginning of the season for a fun bet.
What I can't understand is anyone wanting to lay a long term bet of this sort at 1,0000 for £30. This not only ties up substantial funds (£29,700) but a better return is available *****risk free***** by just leaving the money in a building society account. IMHO anyone with this amount ready cash just would not be bothered in trying to make £30 from a bet placed in September that could run until the following March. |
