Thoughts on value here?? I cant get away from the feeling that Villa at home with surely the strongest side they can field will at the very least win this game by 2 goals over 90 mins. I know the away goal doesnt count till after extra time but wouldnt be surprised if they got the whole job done in regulation time.. 11/10 is dragging me in for a decent bet

I have absolutely steamed in here. Heavily slated for the first leg but on a different day they could have been 3 or 4 goals clear by the 60 mark. Keeper was inspired. I am happy to take this price win lose or draw (lose). Cool

I was thinking that straight after the 3-1 loss. They only have to win 2-0 (or more) which a prem team at home to a League 2 team should be able to do! Bradford are good at home in the league and not that great away!

I've had a bit of 6/1 about Villa and Chelsea to qualify for a bit of interest.

Villa might be a Premier League team in name but they have not beaten a PL team in the last 6 matches and have won only 2 at home in the league all season, that to me makes them more a Championship team. Bradford on the other hand don't have a great away record but have only lost 1 in the last 5 away from home.

Surprised we are 2.2 I mean fecking hell they are a league 2 side. We are at home in front of a sell out crowd and have an abundance of fire-power. Lightning doesn't strike twice.

Villa this season have scored at least 2 goals against:

Tranmere
Swindon
Swansea twice
Man City
Man Utd
Norwich
Liverpool
Ipswich
West brom

More than capable of getting 2 or 3 against Bradford

Yes that away goals rule is correct.

Extra time if scores are level
Away goals only counted after extra time

Villa have scored in one league game in the last six, and even that was an 80th minute against Reading, which needs to be factored in as that's horrendous. Did score twice against Ipswich, but that is Ipswich.

"Did score twice against Ipswich, but that is Ipswich"

Exactly. And this is Bradford, 2 leagues below even Ipswich and in recent weeks have conceded 4 against Brentford, Rochdale and Crewe and lost 2-0 at Barnet. However bad Villa have been, they really should have enough to get the job done here.

think I'd rather back 2-0, 3-0, 3-1, AUQ at slightly odds-on and not have to worry about them qualifying in ET as it has to be one of those scorelines for Villa to qualify

Bradford have plenty to fight and battle for, so at 6/5, there is no value in that bet, especially as Villa are so poor at the back. Anything can happen in a Cup game, as well. Villa as already stated are like 50% of the sides in the Premier League and that is they are just a Championship side.

Thanks for the feedback Im with Roy on this feel its max stake stuff. Somebody mentioned Villa only scoring 1 in last 6 PL games v Reading? scored 2 in last game v West Brom and should have been more. Theres a huge gulf between the Premier Division and the Championship never mind League 2 I know Bradford had some great results in this but quite a few are in the earlier rounds when lets be honest a lot of clubs dont take it seriously in terms of team selection. With their strongest team out tonite I take Villa to win this comfortably. Couple of weeks back I started a thread highlighting United at evens v Liverpool and despite Villa starting 2 down tonite Im feeling this is a bigger bet

If you are backing Villa to qualify you are essentially backing Villa not to leak at the back. I don't fancy the chances of that back line against Nahki Wells.

The Bradford defence stood up well in the three games against Premiership sides. Good luck.
