Comedy how people try and use the tag 'Champions of Europe' as often as they can...almost as if they are fearful it may be the last time they can for quite some time Shocked

Anyone got any idea what sort of team Chelsea will play tonight? They've got Villa (h), Norwich (a) and Everton (a) coming up after this match on Sun/Weds/Sun, so with this and the World Club Cup, its a pretty busy schedule. I think I might leave this match alone and then back Villa to turn them over at the weekend.

chelsea must be hungover from Japan , but to what extent it effects their game we will have to wait and see , still reckon chelsea win though

you do read some shoite on here chelsea wont be up for this ffs,3 games from wembley by far best side left in,full house, ken bates, teams hate each other, rafa needs a win, stick arsenal got last week,no ch lg to worry about etc etc

dont think you,d get a team more up for it than chelsea tonight, thats not to say they,ll win though

Doubt that they flew back in economy class either. Jet lag doesnt affect those on 200k a week

Whatever our side you cannot disregard the physical impact of the trip back from Japan.

As the medical team decided there was no way the players would adapt to the 9 hour time difference within a week in Japan, they operated at a 5 hour time difference to London which means this will be the equivalent of a 00.45 kick off on the times they've been used to for the last week.

I've spoken to a couple of fans who also got back on Monday and they've said they feel like they could sleep for a week.

Add in the suspensions and this is going to be a hard night for us.
