A full strength Udinese are superior to a full strength Liverpool. That's for sure.  Can Udinese qualify?

I knew Udinese were out but considering Liverpool would surely have been 3+ if that were not the case , and are hardly known for putting much effort into this competition themselves , anything near Evens is amazing value Lay imo

Liverpool have won just one of their last 10 European games on the road, drawing four and losing five.

Me and my fellow shredies been hammerings Liverpool for 24 hours now, anything about 1.50 is value. There is not one player in Serie A better than Suarez, not even close to his quality. He will destroy em.

I wouldn't be backing us at that price away from home with the likely team we will put out. Unless Udinese playing the youth side.

Carragher is playing in place of Agger apparently
By:
Can't Catch Me
When: 05 Dec 12 23:06
Yep.  Agger, Lucas and SG haven't travelled. Be near enough full strength otherwise.

Probably something as follows

................................Reina........................
Johnson.... Carragher..... Skrtel.... Enrique
...................Allen.... Henderson.................
............Sterling..... Shelvey.....Suso..........
..............................Suarez........................

Possibly adowning for Suso. IMO.

Hopefully Wisdom will play instead of Johnson, Sahin instead of Allen, Downing or Assaidi instead of Sterling, and Coates instead of Skrtel.

Liverpool will want to win though and with no idea of whether Udinses will be bothered or what kind of team they'll put out it's one to be avoided.

Udinese probably trying to sell players to England though so wouldn't be a surprise if they put a decent team out.

As Ukmallia said anything about 1.5 is value Cool

What's funny about that?    And have you forgotten the 1-3 at Anfield?   Yet another Pool fan living in the distant past.

By your bizarre logic sofa I presume Wigan are far superior to Spurs, but Liverpool then beat Wigan, but wait hold on Spurs beat Liverpool, so who's better than who I'm confused.

I didn't say Udinese were better because they won 3-1 at Anfield.  Read my post again.

I don't know your knowledge on Italian footie but without googling name 5 of their players real quick, you presumably know alot about them, you seem certain in your judgment.

They got beat twice in the group by young boys too, what happened them there?

Maybe I exaggerated slightly but I believe that Udinese are at least Liverpool' equal.  2.08 for an away win at a tough ground to go to is ridiculous.  Good luck though.

lot will depend on what side udinese (already ko'd) will stick out and if they want to be competitive

really don't understand liverpool's logic here mind, take it to the last game then put your big hitters out from the start, a win vs YB's would have put them through, should played likes suarez in this game got the win (which they probably would have got) then rested players in this contest

tiny dave. Im pretty sure this wasnt Rodgers intention!

We played a pretty strong team at home to Udinese and the likes of Suarez and SG both played for 30 mins, and all was going well until the very end. Likewise home to Young Boys in the last game.... SG came on after 30 mins and both Suarez and Sterling came on for about half an hour.

I think he has played things right. If we hadnt conceded very late goals in both those games, people would be complimenting him for his approach imo. Very fine margins. He obviously thought the teams he has picked could do enough, and they very nearly did. As it happens with Suarez out for the next game its no disaster and he can play tonight and still be fresh for the next league game.

Ok, no offence intended to you or CCM.  I'll be shouting for the Pool tonight. I won't be backing them at 2.02 though. Tongue Out

Udinese very upset about no europe in the new year. Big win on the weekend. Small squad and hardly doing well in seria a. Liverpool are just a bad team who cannot score 2 or more. If they egt their a game going here they can come away with a big win.

I would not back them at those oddd myself, but I do think that undinese will be pretty ordinary, liverpool dont score many but 1 may be enough

Is this like the guaranteed draw last night? How can you trust an Italian outfit, will be very poor atmosphere tonight expect Liverpool to qualify nearly 80% of bets on a Liverpool win , could even go odds on at this rate. Liverpool seemed to turned a corner lately, lots of Udinese connections paying for Xmas here.
