if this is a fix, it's on Thailand's side because Iran are usually rubbish. so Thailand purposefully play rubbish and then pick it up when they needed to?
By:
Too much paranoia about match fixing
By:
Yeah it's a certainty. The amount of cash and the timing is not a coincidence. If prele_ reads through the thread he'll see that after each time something unusual happened a goal followed.

It comes to something when even womens U19 football is fixed
![]() Two more games tomorrow though, early start 9am. |
By:
CJ70, you've convinced me this was a fix. The optimum spot to bet was when it went 3-1 because you could lay Iran at sub 1.2.. but you would only do that if you were in the know
By:
The amount traded on this game, it will probably pay the Thai women's team wages for the year
By:
The timings were unusual in that one. Someone knew the exact time a goal was coming, that's not common which makes me think it was something at the ground.
By:
Someone giving a signal?
By:
No idea. You normally get approximate timings of when an event will happen but I've never seen anything like that.

possibly wisewords, 10k was bet against Iran minutes before thailand scored, the other one was a 7k goal bet less than a minute before thailand scored, but it wasn't necessarily a bet on thailand scoring. it is very hard to satisfy the non-believers in the absence of a match-fixing trial but aside from that you literally cannot get better evidence of a fix than what happened here. Uncanny timing at least twice (and possibly more - didn't follow the whole match) with huge money on each occasion.
I don't think laying Iran when ahead is an indicator per se, rather the amount and particularly the timing. Ask yourself how much do you think the players/managers of Asian women's football teams get paid and how many years salary they could make with eg a 7k goal bet |
By:
or more a case of Thailand being so superior that they can score when they like almost?
By:
wisewords ,usually on a game were is a big favorite like it was thailand today there are big amounts matched ,if it was 0-2 probably it wouldnt be more than 40k matched on it,the need of traders to green up ,goals, etc. made the game to reach that "big amount" like someone said above, too much paranoia about fixed games and refusing to see facts ,not saying that the amount is always split to two and one trader can make many trades,so the real money could be around 50k on this one :D

By:
iran was 20 prematch,i saw bigger odds in 75 for a team with 2 goals down
By:
Would there have even been a crowd for this match?
By:
A small crowd of friends and family I'd guess.
By:
if you want a fix try to remember that georgian game that was two weeks ago ,3-3 was matched at all odds possible from 30 to 11 ,away side was leading in 81 minute and those fookers raised the odds till 1.61 when two bookies had them @ 1.23
that was a fix |
By:
Did you see the Georgian match earlier today?

Would there have even been a crowd for this match? I can't imagine so. How many Vietnamese people do you think are interested in Iran v Thailand U19 womens game. Would you even cross the road to watch that game if it was played here? |
By:
If I knew I could bet on a match fix I would

There's generally a lot of interest in teenage Thai girls

By:
As a matter of interest, did anyone here just lay Iran at low odds and let it run and believe 100% in the fix?
By:
Well i laid Iran at 0-2 but got out when Thailand got 1 back
By:
If we believed in the fix, we should just lay lay lay and be strong in our conviction. It's easier said than done though
By:
It's all a matter of knowing there's a fix, but knowing the outcome is different.
By:
The only way we knew that something was going to happen in that game was when the money appeared a minute or so before.
By:
What about the price of Iran constantly rising and the continuous big lays of Iran during the 2nd half?
By:
This was only 'killed' when it went 3-1, but someome was still going with big lays at sub 1.2 prices at 3-1.. he knew?
By:
even when the overall market had fallen out of love with the fix and Iran's price was shortening by the second
By:
Well the big money was traded right before the goals.
By:
I wasn't convinced until that 7k lump came in just before the 3-3
By:
I was concentrating on Iran's price, and the amount of lays coming in was frightening
By:
2k chunks every 30 seconds
By:
Ahh see I didn't see that. That's the problem you have to be really concentrating on one market to see the patterns.
By:
I'm pretty sure there was a lot of money on that game that we've just simply missed because we were concentrating on the match odds market.
By:
If Raluca wasn't on the o5.5 market we wouldn't have known about the lump thrown at that.
By:
Yeah that's the one I was concentrating on. I didn't monitor the goal markets. I did however see that at 3-1 the price of over 5.5 was over 3
By:
that was me who posted about the 7k lump. i posted it once i saw it, ie before the goal. see above. 3-3 posts in the very same minute
By:
Oh well. Took a small green off that, that works for me. Now to look at the Israeli second division
By:
Ah sorry lurka. I knew the name had a 'u' in it ;P
