This is exactly the case. Liverpool been all over them as soon as Gerrard and Suarez were both on the pitch at the same time.

Look at the goal. Control and turn in a tight space from Suarez, Gerrard makes a clever run from deep and spots a pass and goal. Easy.

Play your stars from the beginning, get a good lead and take them off when the job is done. And if it doesn't get done with the big guns on the pitch, the squad players certainly won't get it done.
