Stats are nice, but only for the current season IMO. Doesnt really matter how good you were at home last year when all your stars left the team.

There are a number of factors prele, its not just the players. Its the manager, the ethos of the team and the chairman, even the pitch size and atmosphere.

I think you have to take the stats, and then apply the other knowledge of the team as it is now, to them.
