I wonder how many are making it up in the hope of a payday?I don't think it is anywhere near the numbers they are saying. Going to sound harsh but most of these have gone to the tv cameras before the police. Innocent till proven guilty.?

Police have always turned a blind eye to under age girls having sex.
Strangley, although the legal age for sex is 16, free condoms and advice on sex is given to under age teenagers. To this day, I doubt if ANY person under the age of 16 is ever convicted of having sex. If they have sex with an adult it's the adult that faces prsecution. If 2 15 year olds have sex, no charges are brought. In the 60s and 70s teenage girls were haaving sex with rock stars and tv stars. It was common and illegal. I would presume 95% of it was consensual. Still illegal but consensual. |

how about sexual harrasment in the work place
shall we go back to the 70's when this was happening and prosecute all those guilty by todays standards 40 yrs on or shall we prosecute them by the standards of the 70's which would be fair as they happened in the 70's and not now they should look at sentences given out back then and use them as a guidline not give out sentences by today's standards |

Surely what is acceptable in one county should be consistent in others? does that apply to beheading aswell?  who's to say Spain and France shouldnt fall in line with 16 yrs being age of consent? cant believe you've been on the planet long enough to remember Swardean and can believe it's as simple as you suggest |
