Meet the Woodlands team:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=RlqNs51nZCs

If they go about their football as professional as this presentation, then I understand why they're bottom of the league. Laugh

It's a bit odd that they would play at a venue that's normally the home of their rivals (Young Lions, Wikipedia reads)?

To be honest, the crowds for S-League games are so small it hardly makes a difference where they play. Hardly like travelling will be an issue either.

Lots of games throughout the season are moved to the Jelan Besar. It's normal.

Jalan Besar Stadium (Chinese: 惹兰勿刹体育场) is a football stadium located along Jalan Besar, in the Kallang area of Singapore and is the current home stadium of Young Lions, a S.League football team. It is also the home ground for the Singapore LIONSXII soccer team during the 2012 Malaysia Super League season. The stadium can also be used for any Singapore national football team matches as the National Stadium, Singapore is being renovated. It has a seating capacity of 8,000. It is also part of the Jalan Besar Sports and Recreation Centre, a community sports facility that includes the stadium and a swimming complex.

That last bit explains why so many teams play here -- they can take the kids with them for swimming lessons. Silly

Wish they'd get a shift on, I don't want to be waiting until the 90th minute.

If I wasn't balls deep in the o1.5 I'd be on the 0-1 with a Mendy goal late on.

No. But Woodlands have only kept a clean sheet twice this season and Mendy has an incredible record of scoring last for Home ;)

Nothing to play for so I couldn't back them at 1.33. I'd be very surprised if it wasn't an easy away win mind.

Shame you didn't follow your instincts and laid them. (At least I don't think you did?)

By:

When: 25 Oct 12 14:48
Nope didn't. I fully expected them to win but not at that price when they were resting players. Goals were better value than Home when I wanted to get involved at HT.
