People seem to forget that in OZ Soccer is about the 4th or 5th most popular sport so they are simply sh!t at the game EXCEPT for a single golden generation when Kewell, Viduka, Emerton, Bresciano, Schwarzer & Cahill all came through @ the same time.
Now that lot are gone or washed up we are back to normal. |

RAPS- Now that lot are gone or washed up we are back to normal.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. We had a team just b4 they all came through, however, we also had a large group of youngsters come through 2 world youth cup tournaments. Zelic, Okon, then Viduka, Popovic, Skoko, Grella...(notice none of these are dinky die Aussies) then you had a cpl bonuses like Bresciano and Kewell and you could add Bosnich to that. Of course, since the A League was formed........the quality of those non dinky die Aussies isnt the same is it? Why is that? |
