A step backwards again I feel. Was the designer standing 20 foot away and using a ZX81?

The football page is vulgar

A quick note for your designers to take - text is far easier to read as dark on a light background - not the other way around as you have it now.

Also big blocks of garish colours make it more difficult to quickly focus on individual markets.

Anyone else agree?

I don't get headaches but I've actually got one after looking at that for less than a minute.

Focusing on white writing with dark backgrounds isn't easy on the eye at all.

Today’s site update = even more reason to stay on classic

i'm looking at horseracing market - must be same on footie - and its black text (not white) on coloured (blue/red)  backgrounds.
but the shade of blue and red is whats changed - they are much much darker now. harder to read.

It's in the 'Head to Head' section of the football market which is white text on dark background. It's like someone's pressed the invert button by mistake

Saturation at 100% too in betting markets. Has someone had too much sugar?

To be fair personally I think the the colours are a big improvement on the last beta - it looks more like the classic.
But the event menu on the left really needs a scroll bar and Football - Fixtures, again a bit like the classic!

not saying i can't get used to it but...ffs          lots of bits that had rounded corners now have sharp pointy corners. not relaxing at all.

actually i like the update. why not add a little color to a punters grey life ;)

seriously, more important: seems like it's A LOT faster. and that's what counts. don't give a sh*t about the design

add a little colour - yes change can be good.  like beta for footie and HR. both good.

another design detail-fail for me ; the match updates box, on the right - the icon for a goal used to be : a football. Now, its the same football, sitting on a square,  coloured green on its lower half.   Now you have to look at it a fraction of a second longer to resolve that image , with your eyes.  Not Good.

It's not nice to look at. I'm not against change or colours - just get a designer to actually learn about how the human eye reacts to such before implementing it.

I can roll with this. However, the new market refresh button is tiny. I keep hitting 'rules', which is infuriating.

I like the new design, much more improved, also the speed is much better, good job

Soon the 'Cash Out' button will be slipped closer to the refresh button

Looks like it will make betting simpler for most folk, whilst still keeping the Exchange.
