When do stakes get refunded here
Report Burton_Ernie October 11, 2012 6:43 PM BST
Think its a stake refund if the game isnt finished within 3 days
Report Arallu October 11, 2012 6:43 PM BST
Floodlight failure.

You'll get a refund within 3 days, as long as they don't finish the match off at some point.
Report ricbland October 11, 2012 6:44 PM BST
do you know when the floodlight failure was?
Report Kholo October 11, 2012 6:46 PM BST
so do current bets stand until a decision is made to replay
Report MadVlad October 11, 2012 6:51 PM BST
yes
Report resoloser October 11, 2012 6:53 PM BST
it was a friendly game ,it shall not be continued in any way
Report Maza October 11, 2012 6:57 PM BST
this was at a neutral venue so it wont be finished, will prob have to wait until later tonight or tomorrow morning for the official word though
Report lafouines October 11, 2012 6:58 PM BST
I hope they refund the money too, but when ? thats the question
Report MadVlad October 11, 2012 7:15 PM BST
within 72 hours.
Report hernani October 11, 2012 7:25 PM BST
It happened to me twice, both in official games, not friendlies, and my stakes were refunded in about 24 hours, so those 72 hours are probably old rules.
Report babagoal October 11, 2012 9:20 PM BST
Maybe a Betfair official can give some more information about this?
Report bolabola October 12, 2012 5:44 AM BST
why are we betting on this crap
Report ManInHavanna October 12, 2012 9:16 AM BST
Any German experts know if there is any danger of this actually re starting?
Report Kellog October 12, 2012 9:53 AM BST
Many people will have taken a position at some time between kick off and the game being abandoned due to the way the match was panning out. If this game is replayed, unless they can reproduce exactly the same timeline, how can it possibly be fair to hold punters to their original bet. Come on Betfair, try and make a straightforward decision, draw a line through this game and return all bets. How hard can it be to see simple reason ?
Report buzzer October 12, 2012 9:55 AM BST
In friendlies, and it's happened many times before, the referee can decide the score when he called the game off was the ft result. It's worth ringing betfair to find out your position.

@Man In Havanna

Not much chance of this game being completed. In fact, no chance.

These mid-season/international break/winter break friendlies take place at teams training camps, usually in the alps, and against other teams who happen to be in the area at the same time at their training camp.
In last nights case, the game took place at the former Offenbach stadium. So, a neutral venue, and a handful of fans (passers by).

According to what ive read so far, both teams agreed to a 15 minute wait after the failure, after which all parties agreed to 'no longer attempt to continue the match'.

Given it was a friendly, and both teams will have schedules to keep, theres no chance the game will be continued.
