Think its a stake refund if the game isnt finished within 3 days

Floodlight failure.

You'll get a refund within 3 days, as long as they don't finish the match off at some point.

It happened to me twice, both in official games, not friendlies, and my stakes were refunded in about 24 hours, so those 72 hours are probably old rules.

Many people will have taken a position at some time between kick off and the game being abandoned due to the way the match was panning out. If this game is replayed, unless they can reproduce exactly the same timeline, how can it possibly be fair to hold punters to their original bet. Come on Betfair, try and make a straightforward decision, draw a line through this game and return all bets. How hard can it be to see simple reason ?

In friendlies, and it's happened many times before, the referee can decide the score when he called the game off was the ft result. It's worth ringing betfair to find out your position.

@Man In Havanna

Not much chance of this game being completed. In fact, no chance.

These mid-season/international break/winter break friendlies take place at teams training camps, usually in the alps, and against other teams who happen to be in the area at the same time at their training camp.
In last nights case, the game took place at the former Offenbach stadium. So, a neutral venue, and a handful of fans (passers by).

According to what ive read so far, both teams agreed to a 15 minute wait after the failure, after which all parties agreed to 'no longer attempt to continue the match'.

Given it was a friendly, and both teams will have schedules to keep, theres no chance the game will be continued.
