I for one can see this happening. Stuart Lancaster often spotted at The Britannia and is a known admirer.

Not hard to locate the big football losers on this thread.  If you're going to have a bet on football, at least watch some occasionally, it will do your P&L a lot of good.  If you don't think Shawcross has been one of the best 4 available centre halves on form this season, you either do not watch or understand anything about football :)

Exactly, he and Huth are the main reason we don't ever et dragged into any relegation battles.

SHAWCROSS FOR ENGLAND- Not only should he be playing, he should be the captain and then quite clearly with such a great fooballing brain England will lift the next two world cups and One Euros with this charismatic leader of troops.

Sums up everything that is wrong with English football.
If you want a BRAVE WARRIOR rather than a football player then just scout UFC

1.20 Arsenal
7.00 Spurs
17.00 Oher

Shawcross will prove his worth and this will get TTTd :-)

Anybody who derives pleasure from this farcial selection is either a Stoke fan or a dishevelled lunatic with a half a brain. Wait a minute, anybody who derives pleasure from this farcial selection is a dishevelled lunatic with half a brain who supports Stoke.

This is the selection to put the pride back in supporting England, with c*nts like Rooney, Defoe and Terry that has been very difficult

He'll sit on the bench for both games.

I think not. We'll see.

Shame Whilshere couldn't be there, see if his silly soft mouth runs the same to his face as it does to the press.

1.01 taxi for whilshere (don't spit on the driver this time)

Seriously Eboue is that truth or rumour? Did he spit on his taxi driver because he had a spurs shirt on?

Fair play - I don't like him for his comments 18 months after Ramsaygate - flared it up after Arsene called for calm.
By:

Shawcross would probably assault him before Wilshere spoke, history of that
By:
Mr Eboue
When: 04 Oct 12 21:14
Exactly. As a footballer he could be great but as a man he is a piece of filth.

There was someone on here, talking just like you Don the week after Ramsay's horrific injury saying he would bet his house he would cause the same damage to another player within a season.

He has played every game for 2-3 years now, no injury caused.

Shawcross is just an easy outlet for the Stoke seethers, implying a single event as the norm. Truly pleasing we irritate the masses into such habits.

Wilshere will never be a great, he will be a sick note on a par with Darren Anderton.

By:

When: 04 Oct 12 21:37
It's not a single event, the previous season he'd lunged into Adebayor's ankle when the ball was out of play injuring him
The same game Delap cynically hacked Walcott down when he was away injuring him

Please post all your seething Stoke hatred on the Thick Stoke Haters Exposed thread, as this is the official place, and where collectively you might eventually come to see it as a place of therapy. It does no good to have your hatred dissipated across various threads. Channel it into the one place.

Good to see that the seething Gooners have now navigated their way through the Doldrums after last weekend's embarrassment at The Library! You were all very quiet for a while, and I was beginning to wonder whether something sinister had befallen you all.
