I guess so, I just get it done by my local computer shop, they are not expensive.

Or look on the back of your computer and tell me how many of either of these ports you have, obviously your current monitor will be plugged into one, any others?

thanks Don, give me 10 mins and I'll check it out and get back

Graphics card is NVIDIAgeforce6150se nForce430

Only one port on the back for a monitor

Iv on dual monitors and my graphics fully support this.

I can run any amount of poker tables, msn, betfair etc no problems.

Most modern pcs should be ok.

Just connect your 2nd monitor and try it.

If not ,upgrade your graphics.

connect my 2nd monitor to where Shuda? There is only one port ( I think its VGA )
Report DonNo1 October 2, 2012 11:27 AM BST
Seems that's just onboard graphics expat hence why you only have one port.

You need a new graphics card, something basic will do the job fine.  Under the mainboard tab what model does it say?
Report expat09 October 2, 2012 11:39 AM BST
Don, its a Narra6
Report kingmax October 2, 2012 11:45 AM BST
get a dual monitor split cable
Report expat09 October 2, 2012 11:48 AM BST
yes King but dont think the graphics card is up to it as Don has said
Report kingmax October 2, 2012 11:49 AM BST
oh sorry
Report DonNo1 October 2, 2012 11:53 AM BST
I didn't think it was possible to split from one output, it would just clone the displays rather than extending it?

What does it say under 'Version' on the mainboard Tab?
Report expat09 October 2, 2012 11:55 AM BST
version 5.15

Report DonNo1 October 2, 2012 12:01 PM BST
And you have an extended display kingmax, ie one big desktop and not two sceens displaying the same thing?

I'd suggest this expat

http://www.ebuyer.com/368753-asus-hd-5450-silent-512mb-ddr3-vga-dvi-hdmi-low-profile-graphics-eah5450-sl-di-512md3-v2-lp-

That should be compatible, it's not too hard to install but it will involve a going inside the computer and slotting it in
Report expat09 October 2, 2012 12:09 PM BST
cheers Don. I'll sort that out. Thanks for your and everyones help

Hope it works, if you're buying a new monitor you might want to go for a DVI one since your current one will occupy the VGA one which will save you buying a VGA/DVI adapter

Good luck
Report DonNo1 October 2, 2012 12:14 PM BST
occupy the VGA slot*
Report expat09 October 2, 2012 12:20 PM BST
