Evening all :) Has anyone here ever placed a bet and then during the countdown the Suspend has kicked in, and yet after its lifted the bet has been matched?
there's a thread somewhere with suspension issues ronin...getting more frequent by the week imo.

I also found tonight when I tried to cashout on Man City at 1-2 it came up that I had a "Partial Match" and that I had a huge liability that had been matched, I was frantically clicking on the update until it "went away" I have now ended up with Cash because of the a Real Madrid win, I dont get it?
i had it happen in the tennis once and got a refund as it was matched in the next game
but ronin they would have the time that your bet was matched so i guess it could had been matched just before the suspend and not shown till after unless the odds were much higher ?

I think it's worthy of some explanation from BF on how the suspensions are being handled because they seem to be a lot different to how they used to be. If it's now all done by 3rd parties are they also responsible for clearing the bets down?

Suspend should stop the bet ever getting taken and I've certainly seen my bets blocked by suspend, BUT .. if all these reports of very very short suspend periods are correct, it's quite possible that the bet might count down to be placed AFTER the unsuspend, which is a bit ****. That could easily happen with e.g. a timer of 8 seconds and the suspend for 5, that happened in the "middle"?

All I got was sarcasm TheMover, I simply asked if bets can be matched during suspend. They get staing that you cant PLACE during a suspend,, its not the same thing by along way. Tonights farce with the cashout was unbelievable.
At one point a £7 Cashout had turned into a £23 liability!
A few more clicks on update and instead of my £7 being paid out, it told I would win £7 on City win and £25 on REal!?
Just Checking's explanation would seem feasible. I'm not sure if the cash-out option adds any further delays...presumably as it is essentially trading across all the markets to provide the cash-out figure I would have thought it would have been slower.
I ve never had a partial match on a Cashout before, cant believe I could end up on a large liability just by accepting the offer to cashout, I use Correct score often and thats the one where it would matter most.
Still have no idea how I ended up winning £25 when I was trying to Cashout £7 on the other team winning.
Another poster has pointed out in tonight reply from betfair, he does actually state that its not possible to have any bets matched during a suspend, I had 6 beers tonight, but I didnt on Saturday, I wasnt seeing things then! :)
it sounds like whilst it was in the process of cashing out by matching all the required bets in the RM, Draw, City markets the suspend occurred leaving part of them matched but not all of them.
Its not really fair if he Cashout can leave you wide open like that though.

Whatever happened all I kept doing was clicking on update, somehow that ended up with this £25 on Madrid win, waiting to see if it gets taken back from my account.
I am now going to try and remeber to use Windows screen recorder eachtime I place a bet, I know the matching of a bet, during a suspend has happened to me before, no question of it.
A cashout is I think just a calculation looking at the live figures to green you out, in a fast moving environment I suppose a partial match is quite possible?

Thats what I read too, mover, but it doesnt explain if I would of been held to the liability if I had not got the rest matched, or why I found myself greened out on all three results?
The greening out and the £25 can be because of the market moving so quickly, but what if it had gone the other way, I am left wide open to a huge liability, selecting an option that states the "cashout figure is the minimum I will recieve"
It doesnt say that the Cashout is done by placing lays, and that if partially matched Im could have a huge loss, given the reply I got tonight I cant be arsed with them anymore.
I am going to screen record and then when something like this happens again, I ve got evidence of what I did, just dont get a feeling they will give a sh1t
I would have thought than any partially matched bet has to stand and in which case users of the cash-out facility could be left with a larger liability if only the lay elements are matched but as you state it doesn't say that anywhere that I can find
If it's done by lays then you can't get matched ABOVE what it lays so theoertically you'll get what they target for you or better, but if the odds are moving up, you might also get no or a partial match. But it'll be exact same principal in reverse for backs, in simple terms backs are often just lays on the other line. I'm sure you might know this (but some people don't get it :)))

I bet small stakes only £2 to £10 max, but Ive Cashed out on over £100 on Correct score a few times and thats why it worries me, a £2 stake in the correct score could Cash Out partially and then Im left with huge liability.
If it's clever and nice to you it'll do the best option for you. I've only used it a couple times when it first came out for fun, can't remember what it did, but I'd rather just green out manually, it's like betting stabilisers.
Trying to green out on the Correct score is too nerve racking for me :)
Oh and other thing about it was when I was in markets where I knew I was in a red, guaranteed loss, it would tell me I could take a profit (!). I'd no faith in it (don't know if they've fixed all that).
yeah, ive cashed out a few times and then after it was accepted, been offered more from the cashout option!? Ive taken it and its never been paid into account. THey told me it was to do with the browser not updating the sums? It was when I first heard of the cashout being the "minimum" you would get and yet I had Cashed out 3 or 4 times and only got the minimum the first time lol
I would never use the cash out option. Do it manually.
