with regards to where to sit, just try and avoid being in the clouds. It is seriously a long way up there!

As resident Barcelona fan boy I feel I should help.

Buy them off the official website, wait until nearer the time and more seats become available as season ticket holders that cant go will  sell them back. You will be guaranteed to get decent seats together if you check each day.

I would avoid being too high up and also avoid being in the bottom tier too far back and undercover as you dont get the feel for the whole stadium.

Middle of first tier or anywhere on the second are the best seats imo.

and don't forget your hoover

Great ground, crap city.

Just fly in and fly out. Best not to take your wallet.

Its an amazing city, there are a lot of pick pockets but if you are even remotely careful you will be fine.

the ground is like a big concrete block and lacks atmosphere.Madrids ground and atmosphere blows it out the water.  theres lots to do in the city just depends what you want to do.

Nearly got wallet swiped on ramblas when we played barca , romanian bird got caught by plain clothed coppers , great p1ss up in the square

One of my mates got mugged by a lady of the night. He did not want to even go with her.

I was there recently for the Madrid game. No problems whatsoever. Nice friendly people, well worth a visit. Its like any big city, you have to be responsible.

One of ladies of the night was sexually assaulted when I was there last year. She didn't realise she'd been sexually assaulted until the cheque bounced
