No premship manager has a couple of months these days......in a couple of months or so we are half way through the season and I very much doubt Henderson and Downing will look any better

How are Downing, Shelvey and Morgan our "core"? Obviously a poor display but kneejerk reactions won't change anything. Downing/Henderson won't make the bench for the 1st XI, so saying they are poor/**** whatever by no means indicates how the team will perform further along the line.

Pass&Move - we had exactly the same story last year. New signings, take time to build under new manager, encouraging performances v the big teams etc etc. Rodgers may well get it right, but until he does you may need to develop a thicker skin.

It's Europa league though, when United, Chelsea etc. put out a mixed side against inferior opposition, you don't automatically take that performance as indicative of the level of peformance the 1st team will then continue to perform at.
