Understandable to me. I did the opposite a couple of weeks ago. Tried to do some trading on Murray while waiting for football to start, and lost a shitload as it was his game in Cincinatti that he lost

Also the adding of play-offs when 3rd and 4th teams in FNL fight with 14th and 13th in Premier for the spot in the top flight was good for attractivness and entertaiment. Last season's play-offs were not too good (and you can't imagine that Shinnik took part in those, can you?), but I still think that such a system is better than English one when places 3-6 in Championship fight for the only spot.
