I was seriously going to hammer Liverpool at 4/7 @ Corals,perhaps on here if the price was matched or better.Now according to the press up here Liverpool are going to play their laddies(probably still win)but this has taken the wind out of my sails.

i was really hoping it would be the 1st leg at home to lump on big time, tonight will probably end up 1-0 or 2-0 liverpool but they definitely won't be pushing too hard.

Liverpool were absolutely awful away in Belarus and again at West Brom. Has to be value on a Hearts handicap when Liverpool get backed in to something ridiculous.

With the players Liverpool are resting I really cant see where the goals are coming from, I'd steer well clear of backing Liverpool myself, albeit I couldn't tell you how bad Hearts are, they couldn't be much worse than Gomel the belarussians that outplayed Liverpool in the first leg. Most definitely do not 'hammer' Liverpool at 4/7.

spurs picked the strongest team available cos it was our first game of the season after the everton game was postponed due to the riots and our next game was on monday night

When you compare Liverpool at 4/7 here versus Spurs at 11/10 last year, it's hard to get excited about betting them. I think they'll win but there are better bets to be had. LEVANTE at 5/4 v Motherwell is the bet of the round.
Panathanikos easily beat Motherwell, and the Greeks just got spanked by Malaga. Levante are on a similar level to Malaga. |

A good La Liga side at 5/4 (ask Platini where!) V an SPL side, compared with Liverpool as short as 2/5 V an SPL side - you choose. That said, EPL is miles ahead of SPL, and Hearts have lost Black and Skacel from the side which won the Scottish cup in May, that pair being the best two players on the pitch.

The entire cost of the Hearts squad for tonight's game=£25,000 for David Templeton from Stenhousemuir.All of the others were home grown or frees.Says it all.

Liverpool won't play all kids. I know the top clubs in England don't bother with the uefa cup but a new manager will want to win anything to start with so he will try for this.

lets get serious here! liverpool will spank hearts i'm afraid to say. the gulf in class even with liverpool reserves is massive, we have ost our key players in skacel and black our squad is weak we have no real goal threat our manager will employ the 4-6-0 formation .

And I'd like to know why the fook BR is resting players in a competition most other teams don't care about. He's deluded if he thinks Liverpoo even have a chance of finishing in the top 4. Unless he really is taking the thought of a relegation battle seriously, and yes perhaps he should, Liverpoo should be going out all guns to win mickey mouse tournaments like this sh1t. And their best chance of qualifying for Europa next season is winning this year. Liverpoo arent winning this. Anyone backing them at 1.61 must really hate having money in their betfair account. I dont care how bad Hearts are. There is no team bad enough in the UK who would lose to Liverpool when playing a 4-6-0 against that shower of sh1t in midfield. |

I am going to lay Liverpool their away form is really crap, i mean they beat Gomel with a big stroke of luck after being dominated the whole game, they lost 3 - 0 at WBA and they suck so its a big lay for me
