they sold their best player maxi rodrigues and brought in a mug who is happy to pass backwards and 2 yards to the side to appease the fans with his keeping possession stats.
what a load of allen mugs. |

So let me get this right. Dudleish spunnked five and a half for Adam and he bombed and now Brenda says he can go if someone pays over five for him. So he'll be staying then.

Oh dear, It's like the blind leading the blind here!
In July 2011 Liverpool signed Adam from Blackpool for a fee of £6.75 million after having their initial bid rejected It's so easy lads, just go to wiki and check his price, a simpleton could do it, better option than looking like a pair or prized plums! |
|
By:
yeah cos its not like you can edit wiki
oh look messi just signed for accrington stanley |

Looks a real mess at Liverpool ,all resulting from 4 years of terrible signings.
2 Years from now we will be reading threads about them trying to get Allen and Borrini out for £5M |
|
By:
what over 2.5?
Yes, wiki can be edited obv, I once read that Scholes was the most ginger midfielder in europe! but it dosent tend to be wrong on trivial stuff like a players price. |
|
By:
news reports of the time said £9M for Adam
|
|
By:
I cant be held accountable if Wikipedia is wrong, but I'm not just dreaming up figures like some!
|
|
By:
The fee was officialy 'undisclosed'
Mail and Mirror said £9M Guardian said £7.5M Telegraph £8M |
|
By:
I would have said 7m ish if I was asked and didn't have t'internet at the ready!
|
|
By:
I think we can all agree, if it was more than 1 million it was too much
|
|
By:
I thought Everton were eyeing him up!?!
|

No club in their right mind would offer £5m for Adams. He's quite possibly the worst Liverpool player ever and his best hope of finding a new club would be in the Championship (or lower).

Not really true though is it sofa? Sure he has stank the joint out at Liverpool but he did get a plethora of goals and assists at Blackpool, so whats stopping him doing a job for a prem team now?
It could be b.s but were spurs not interested in signing him? I seem to recall 'arry singing his praises, triffic and all that jazz! So has his stock really sunk that low, Is that what playing for Liverpool does to you? |

"Brendan Rodgers (born 26 January 1973) is a Northern Irish former footballer who is the current manager of Liverpool.
Rodgers began his footballing career as a defender at Ballymena United, where he stayed until he was signed by Reading at the age of 18, although an injury later forced him to retire at the age of 20. He remained at Reading as a youth team coach before being invited to join Chelsea as the manager of their youth team in 2004. He was then promoted to reserve team manager in 2006. In November 2008 he was appointed manager of Watford, where he remained until accepting an offer to become manager of his former club Reading in June 2009. He left the club by mutual consent after disappointing results in December 2009, and later returned to full-time management with Swansea City in July 2010. The following year he led the club to Premier League promotion, before guiding them to finish 11th in their debut Premier League season." From Rafa Benitez to Brendan Rodgers. Good luck with that project. |

Charlie Adam was made by David Vaughan at Blackpool. The fact that Vaughan was available on a free and only Sunderland took the punt on him is unbelievable. As for cole - class player who, if played right, will be a cracking signing for somebody - especially if Liverpool pay half his wages!

I'm sure there's a place for Charlie at Ibrox.

Why do you think the Liverpool side from several years ago was a truly great side, Mr E? Comments like that which are bandied about by all the muppets in the TV studios just devalue the achievements of players and teams that are genuinely great.
