I suspect they were motivated to try and get one over on Albirex since they are up there at the top of the league with them. But they don't give a toss about a match against Geylang in this comp.

All i can say is:

1. I read this match horribly wrong
2. Thank god i took a red on Tampines
3. at least over 1.5 came in as a small consolation
4. WTF, Geylang in the final

I think we all read this match wrong @biscuit... we didn't read it wrong, its one of them weird games which has tams to win 5-1 & ended up loosing 2-0

I'd be well chuffed with my early profit for this, if I hadn't lost over 1/3rd of my bank while asleep last night Cry

a lesson for you all is to leave matches alone when you know bugger all about the league, the line up of the teams etc etc

The lessons always cost you money, the important thing is to learn from them

Worst part is that I lost all that cash on markets I don't normally follow. If I'd stuck religiously to my niche, I'd have double my current bank. Literally every time I touch a different kind of market I seem to get stung immediately Cry

90% of the people on this thread bet on this league every day

I won .03 like a pro left all green on over 0.5 Grin

Escobar unfortunately that doesn't make any sense.  A lot of people will lose heavily on a game because they know the teams but actually they know f all about the match - because the match is unpredictable.  I know Premier League the best because I follow it the most, but that leads to me being more cautious because I know how unpredictable it is - Chelsea 3-5 Arsenal at the bridge for example.

with that attitude my friend you will lose long term I am afraid to say and they are classic signs of a problem gambler. Treat it as a recreation, nothing more nothing less and only stake a fraction of what you think you can afford.

I have no idea what you are talking about Escobar.    I said to be cautious before thinking you know how a match will go because you follow a league...I bet here to win 3%, hardly a sign of over staking....classic signs of a problem gambler where?  by pointing out football is unpredictable at times?

I'd suggest Maribor v Dudelange if you want a competitive match with a clear favourite, but as a problem gambler I wouldn't suggest backing Maribor at the current price Wink
