I search for the best spots (teams performance, momentum, last minute news, crazy odds move) in football the day before.
With low odds selections I opt to bet early and the confidence of my selection will dictate the money invested (take for example FC Porto yesterday: I was extremely lucky, but at that price I had no doubt that Porto was a good call). Also if I'm ahead of my starting bankroll (or I have a very decent profits day) I dablle the higher odds markets (>1.55).

The main goal obviously is to up the bankroll 5% every two days with those selections (so I don't have to be audacious when picking a potencial winner).

Major markets: Totals, 1x2, DNB.
Also play a lot of NFL and NBA (when the season starts).
