I do like a bit of a punt in Romania, I'll keep a watch on that.
Are you a Dinamo fan? |

Hi CJ,
When I was a child, yes I was a Dinamo fan but for many many years now I am just a fan of every team that has my money on it:) I can honestly say that betting turn me into a cold blooded bastard :) Romanian Liga 1 is often tricky, but I have over 15 years of experience on it, played myself couple of games on the second division when I was a teenager and this really helped me over the years with my betting. What I want to do with my blog is to post all my tips for the entire this new season and double the money every month (that's the goal, I will surely post quality pick and not quantity ones) and from the next season start a small-fee paying service just to have the motivation on keeping the blog active. Hope you will start follow my posts on the blog and hope everything will be as I expected :) Cheers, Mac |

there are 1.2 - 1.3 odds and you are thinking about charging for those "picks"? LOL
By:
Hi underline,
I am not thinking of charging for at least one year, so why the bad attitude? Also, as I said and already explained on the blog in my sticky note, I want winning bets not to bet just for the fun of it and maybe at the end of the month I'll have some profit. Would you prefer bigger odds but more loses or safe bets with lower odds? I myself opt for the second variant as I can use them in my systems, but that's just me, of course you can have a different approach on betting. What I will try to sell after one year will be my knowledge in RO League, knowledge that hopefully will also lead me and others to profits. Please, if not to much, start criticize me after at least couple of my bets are posted :) All the best! Mac |

Its you who has the bad attitude mate- if someones paying commission and also for tips, how in good gods name this fine Erev Shabbat, can one make money from a series of 1.2 "tips". Your half honest to admit your plan and I commend that, but its boll ock s!!!!! Deluded

What's 'x2' mean for today's game?
By:
Nouvelles, if at the end of the month you have doubled your amount, is that ok? Don't know for you but for me it's ok, my target is to double the thousand euro that I put on stake every month and this kind of bets suits my systems. Next month, the same thing. Important is the end result not how you get there, that's of course my point of view.
Robd270, x2 means double chance on Dinamo, or lay Severin here @Betfair (where the odds are better, up to 1.25 now and I expect to be much higher after 15 min into the game as Severin will start with euforia at their debut in Liga 1), but unfortunetly I am limited in choosing bets at blogabet. |

i seen Uni Cluj did transfer a lot of players to petrolul as i read the former owner of uni is now petrolul boss .
my question is, did the Uni players know what was going on behind the boards when they played the important game against Cluj last season... other question is why did the owner switched his position ( Uni is a tradional club and did pretty good i think last season ) and yes romanian football is really strange sometimes teams just disappear from time to time ( urziceni , timisoara ... whole teams got tradet in and out, i remeber a similar case like uni/petrolul last season but don´t know the teams thanx |

Hi EW,
Trying to answer your question the simple way, well as long as the Romanian football is driven by the same persons since I was a child (and now I'm 30) e.g. Sandu and Dragomir, FRF and LPF bosses, all this anomalies will keep happening around there. Don't want to get into details but normal conduct won't reappear in romanian football until those to dies of old age (since they don't have any intention to quit on their own). Of course they are not to blame for everything, but their conduct over the years allowed everybody else to behave like cavemen, regards it was their personal conduct or their business. About U Cluj, last season match against rivals CFR was a total circus, long story short, in my opinion everybody knew what was going on in that game, players included. About the owner switching clubs, he didn't come to terms with the local authorities about several initial negotiated aspects and, due to excellent legal contract, he was able to take most of the players (juniors included) and move them to Petrolul. |

ok thanx a lot

you bet on dinamo in hadicap their gona smash gaz metan
By:
laying severin now @ 3.4 offers great value, the market overreacted at the sale of dinamo's forward m.niculae that was just announced one hour before the starting kick-off.
By:
Didn't have a bet on it but well done for yesterday a-bet.
You fancy anything today? I think the odds for Petrolul Ploieşti are a bit short aren't they? |
By:
hi rob,
way to short petrolul today, still want to wait and see how the new players will gel with the old ones. I like gaz metan to score @cfr odds around 2.0, but is not fitting into my system so no bet for me. for tomorrow I have a lay @3 (or 1.50 double chance) which looks great but I still want to sleep on it tonight until I post it on the blog. please feel free to check the blog or twitter later tonight or tomorrow morning. all the best |
By:
by the way, yestarday I manage to lay severin @3.3 in-play (aprox. 1.45 double chance for dinamo)which was massive considering that at some point severin was laying somewhere above 6.0
the market over reacted at the sale of dinamo's best forward which was announced just before the k.o. time of the game and, as expected, severin started flyin' high as being newcomers, dinamo (although played mediocre, like they do for some time now) just waited and punish them when the opportunity arrived. |

Good thread, going to save this to my favourites, keep it up. Always good to have an in depth knowledge of a league that perhaps many others on betfair won't have. Good luck.

thanks Biscuit, that's exactly what I am tryin' to do, use my knowledge for one league, instead of considering myself a god of all the leagues and waste my money on assumptions.
of course I can find bigger odds to satisfy the above people that were not into short odds, but I am only looking for winners and I will try to find them even if that means shorter odds. now I am on holiday and I have the time to chit-chat on forum, but soon I don't think I will be able to check it so often, so, as mentioned before, please feel free to check my blog and twitter for all my bets good lock |

after 20 min petrolul dont seem that short anymore..they have a good team and its gonna be very hard for anyone to beat them at home
By:
agree, at home they will be a force this season, their compact stadium full with supporters will certainly help them a lot. still, ceahlaul is not that much of a threat, can't wait to see petrolul in action with more attacking capable teams.
By:
ceahlaul is very week I agree, and thats why the short odds..but they were definetely value this match..i only got in them at 1-0 at 1,2 but still a good price \i think
By:
I was a little bit skeptical since this was the first game of the season and did not know how the new and old players will gel together, plus ceahlaul come with a relatively good morale as they beat petrolul on their own turf last season. still, good for you that you got them, their victory was never in doubt after they took the lead.
By:
what do u think about cfr tonight???will they beat gaz metan??or lay gaz metan is better?
By:
I am not gonna touch this game, on paper cfr is big favorites of course, but they do have some important missing plus gaz metan always performed good against cfr (I think they are unbeaten for 4-5 games against them). my only valuable option will be gaz metan to score at odds around 2.0, but I, like you in a different thread, am searching for less risky bets in order to fit my system.
For tomorrow I like two lays, very good odds, but I still have some homework to do on them until I place my bets. I will surely decide on at least one of them and post it on the blog. |

2 games caught my attention for today, both posted on the blog with additional info. long story short: lay astra and lay iasi
By:
astra winning. do you think gloria bistrita still can draw or even win this a-bet?
By:
hi strawhat,
sorry for the late response, I wasn't online. unfortunetly, my fear that I wrote it on the blog about gloria-astra came true, but I am quite sure that gloria will take back this 3 points when this two teams will meet again on astra's turf (check my blog with the explanation on that if you don't know what i mean). tomorrow I will have another selection, will post it in the morning the latest. |

Steaua -1 for today
By:
oh dear, is not in-play, what a c*rap...still -1AH is 1.62@Pinnacle
By:
Looks pretty even judging by the match stats at HT a-bet.
We could do with Steaua scoring early in the 2nd half. Were the team line-ups as you expected??? |

Look to be just offside but Steaua do deserve a goal imo.
