murray has a good record agains federe but did I not here them say not in grand slam/semis and finals etc!!?? not totally sure but it implied if it was in early rounds he has beaten him but not otherwise!!!

The hype surrounding Murray has been the worst part of these Championships - his own entourage with their clenched fists and wide open mouths, the BBC commentary teams, the crowd. Britain has shown just how desperate they are to have a Wimbledon champion from their own land - and have put Murray on a pedestal. Lets hope he comes crashing down to earth in straight sets, then this deluded nation can continue to dream about their next great conquest - like England winning the FIFA world cup in Brazil ....
