Going back to 1922 Spain had about 27 years of real dominance over France then there was a flat period of about 34 years when they were more or less equal. Then from about 1981 France had about 25 years of superiority. Once a trend gets established between these two it seems to gain momentum and go on for decades. Spain seems on an uptrend now starting about 2006 so that could extend for quite a time.
I expect the best France can expect is a draw at 90 minutes but footie is a funny old game and anything can happen. |

Whilst the Germans are more aggressive going forward, the Spanish concede so few as they retain the ball so well. Would be a cracking final.

Chatham how did you miss the river plate relegation? The river plate fan watching the relegation match and going absolutely bat **** CRAZY is one of the more amusing things on youtube :)
The translations of things he was shouting at the telly really let you know that the Argies have a wide range of disgusting things to call people. |
