Really poor unforced errors from Ireland costing them again... Italy are there for the taking... Ireland had at least 4 or 5 counter attacking opportunities (3-v-3, 2 v 2) that amounted to nothing or Ireland running it in to the corners... they've also had several free kicks / corners which they're usually a threat from...
It's not over and at 0-1 Ireland will still get chances to level it, that's the hope anyway. I felt they were good enough to get to the break at 0-0 so didn't lay off but reasonably confident Ireland can at least pose a threat 2nd half. If it stays at 1-0, Italy won't be brimming with confidence and we could see some nerves kick in knowing that if they concede they're out. |

Yes, usually the long post are the most enlightening, thought through and valid posts.
 Instead of posts generically saying to back or lay a team, with no explanation or reasoning why. Read them, you might learn something. Although doubt you will this, as it's over a sentence long.  |
