Most do, but that doesn't mean that you have to always lose. Depends how serious you take it, and how much you want to become profitable.

To become profitable over time it's more to do with the psychology of what your doing, not the knack of 'picking winners'. Any monkey can win a bet, to win bets consistently is the difference.
