They are a foreign country after all, do we really need constant updates from their training camp and features during programming for other games etc. I dont feel any more connection to them than any other team in the tournament, commentary was ridiculously biased tonight on ITV. Its bad enough the Beeb and ITV harping on about England every 2 minutes (such as Netherlands v Denmark yesterday).

Half the team was English, so I think England's reserve should get some coverage
It's a strange one. It is a foreign country though there are undoubtable links between the English and Irish. But now because of free migration rules within the EU, we should give equal coverage to the French, Italians, Spanish, Poles, etc, etc. There's always been sizeable populations of them within England but moreso now.
Probably as many people in England who consider themselves Irish as in the Republic of Ireland itself.
