I think if Portgugal sort out their approach, tha have shown they have what it takes, and could be value right now

shown by losing 1-0?

Spain created a lot more chances after Torres came on.
|
|
By:
of course Spain are feared, just need to get rid of the Manager and Torres.

Torres coming on before Llorente is a crime.

Armchairidiot, portugal are a sh!t, they have no chance of winning this you muppet

spain problems is to many pretty passes, they need to have more of a cutting edge - All players need to go to hairdressers before next match - to wake them up.

Negredo would have buried them chances.

the are taking long to close the markets...

Torres is being over criticised now, everything he does is put under a microscope.
He is still making good runs and getting himself in good postions. |

He isn't a myth, he certainly isn't overrated (check out the comments about him on here) but yes like 90% of pro-footballers he is overpriced.
|
|
By:
at least the Manager reacted to his rubbish and hooked him immediately and didn't seem to speak to him after either.
|
|
By:
he WAS top drawer but always behind Villa,he is now a myth of what he once was. On current form he wouldn't get in the Wolves team ahead of Fletcher. When the hunger has gone its gone.

torres did ok for me
poor players wouldnt have been able to make that run for first chance can think of many a sub who has come on in last 15 mins and not been near the ball |
|
By:
I don't agree, I think Torres creates his own chances with his movement and intelligent runs. You will note Spain created more chances the short time Torres was on the pitch than they did in the rest of the game.

spot on high lander
think some on here think forwards just get the ball on end of foot infront of goal by magic |
|
By:
They don't want to know about that Steptoe, they only want to kick a man when he's down. That's all the haters on here are good for.
|
|
By:
There was nothing particularly 'intelligent' about his runs today - empty uneducated cliche bollocks if you ask me. They were bog standard strikers runs made obvious by the gaps Italy left at the back.Indeed, the intelligent thing to do would have been to slip Navas in.... I'm no knocker of Torres, but the fact is he couldnt complete a 5 yard pass and looked woeful im front of goal in his cameo. There were simply no positives.
