Is it looking more and more likely that Solskjaer will be taking over at Aston Villa. Possibly had his farewell match at Molde yesterday it looked like.

Reports also saying Solksjaer and his wife going to meet with owner of Molde as well.

Or it could be Egil Olsen.

Faulkner in Norway, not sure about Lerner.  Anyways this is almost 100% nailed on now.  Anything over 1.50 is a gift.  Obviously just hammering out compensation and other details.

Where has this been confirmed?
By:

When: 22 May 12 15:38
Norwegian press confirmed the Solskjaer and wife to meet Rokke in Oslo part.

The Faulkner is in Oslo part not confirmed by media folk, just a couple reliable Villa sources.

It's that 100% certainly true that Horangi has left all the prices for everyone else to take!!

I have a large exposure on this market and have basically reached my limit.  imo the current price available here at this moment is laughable.

imo the price on Ole will get bigger as villa interview other candidates.

great pic of the plane by the way.

By the looks of it I'd say the interview process is over.  But these markets bring all kinds of twists and turns so I don't rule out anything.

Anyways I'd say Solskjaer looks pretty certain, I don't see why he and his wife would be meeting Molde's owner today unless it had something to do with his future.  And if Faulkner is over in Norway as well then it doesn't take much to put 2 and 2 together.

VD you can just search for it, its in specials on the football page.

Bold move by Villa to be appointing an untried (at PL level) manager in their current position.

Its a brave move but I think a good one! We need a guy with fresh ideas and attacking tactics, were an attacking team not a defensive one!

Im all for him, wouldn't mind AVB or Di matteo or Martinez either but can't see us getting them.

Shockingly the odds have hardly budged since the news broke.  Totally baffled what moves these markets.  Sky Sports reporting badly translated press conference quotes equals massive move.  Legitimate substantial developments indicating he's nailed on, zzzzzzzzzz.

Perhaps somebody knows something that you don't.

Perhaps.  But the fact is developments today have barely caused any reaction.  Not as if layers and backers are trading high volume.

Given that the local paper has only just repeated that there are other candidates in the frame and added a new one, what price would you expect him to trade at?

Local paper?  Should I check my latest telegram on the Villa situation?

And the main writer for that paper has just tweeted a not so subtle message today.
