...To all Bayern mass backers who, thinking this was like investing in gold, completely devastated markets last week, transforming Betfair into a low-value bookie, I feel not a single bit sorry for you. Not a single bit.

I feel sorry for the Bayern fans who didn't deserve this small tragedy, though. They are great supporters and my heart goes to them. 13 years later, bad luck stroke again.

Congratulations to Chelsea, a shade of their 2005 and 2006 selves, had the lucky star on their side but also a great deal of resistance and belief.
