Seriously, what happens if it all goes wrong tomorrow? A City player gets sent off, QPR get a soft pen, City get no help from the ref. You are mugs if you assume it will all be plain sailing. If United score first, then QPR score first, then we will see how much bottle City have.

can we assume that if Man C win the league then Man U will be the team that suffers 'untold damage' given that it was in the bag and trading as low as 1.03 to win it a few weeks ago

I'm on about if things go wrong for City tomorrow. If they get a player sent off, soft pen against them, these things happen in football.

QPR will treat this game like a one off Cup final.. they will be right up for it. And as we all know, anything can happen in a one off Cup tie.

It would be better for City of they were playing a side higher up the league, mid table side like Sunderland, because they wouldn't care. Instead they are playing a side who really cares. The more I think about this, the more I realise how badly this could go for City.

United have an excellent chance of winning the title tomorrow and destroying City in the process. I cant wait Grin

Oh I have already rommel and I will put some more money on it now, thanks for the reminder.

On Sunday evening I highly suspect we will all be talking about how it all went horribly wrong for City.

Poor poor City, they just get out of our shadow, cant even buy themselves out for half a billion.

Dza, and other mind game knockers need only look at the response of martin oneil and some of the sunderland players including our very own oshea when he claimed we had two easy games in an obvious attempt to stir them up.

Even though they know what he's up to its worked.

Mine games work..deal with it friends. Top end managers like mourinho and fergie would not bother if it did not. To what degree depends on a number of other factors on any given situation but there's no doubt they can impact.

Peace

mind games do work, witness the fck total collapse of fergie the last few weeks, and now whimpering like a fckn orphan exhorting qpr to do a trick with loaves and fishes

of course when united blew the chance of their first title in 25 years back in 1992 losing 3 games in a row they were so "broken" by it they promptly won it the following year winning the last 7 games.

even if united somehow hang on tomorrow it's just postponing the inevitable

Swansea were equally annoyed and despatched, meaning that the "mind games" balls works perfectly, except when it doesn't...

Like I said Roy, these rent-a-quote managers love the sound of their own voices, rather than any magic effect their comments have. They are ego-maniacs. This is why they bother with it. For the sake of it. They get inane questions put to them by a sycophantic press who lap up the bullsh1t. And it's why not all successful bosses do it, because not all of them are rent-a-quotes.

Likewise, there are unsuccessful bosses who talk a lot, but due to their lack of success, it's not known as 'mind-games'.

Haven't read this thread apart from the OP, but my take is that either Fergie needs to work on his script a bit better or get a real psychologist in the help with the mind games.

Untold damage? What a Tsunami roaring in?

Complete plank.
