the letter of the law states 30 secs added for a sub, its irrelevant if its 0-0 or 25-0, rules are to be followed not just ignored because its convenient

Bergkamp, I remember putting huge money for me at least on u3.5 when UCD were 3-0 up some game with 30 seconds plus i.t @1.24, saw it was suspended, went into seethe mode then saw ref blew early.Laugh

Had a phase of picking one sided games in Bundesliga for exactly that sort of bet.

if i was a player on a hatrick against a shiit team i would be pushing for a goal.. y the fook neymar kicked the ball from the corner all the way down to his goalie i'll never know.. they should have gone for the 9th, it was a game to get goals

Maximus it's not that it's convenient, it's just that it's a decided match.  A consolation goal wouldn't even be a consolation, and neither team was doing much at the end.  Ref makes the rules.

Speaking of which, fancy UCD to smash Dep Quito. Maybe not by 8 goals though

Is it a law? Or just generally accepted? I doubt very much it's in the Rules of The Game.

if there's a red light at traffic lights but theres no cars do you just drive ahead anyway? No you wait until its green.
The ref doesnt make the rules, he enforces them, fifa make the rules.

i think refs have a policy they must add on extra time if certion things happen in a game but not a clue to be honest i am not ref.

maximus is right here, the 30secs is a rule and not just some guideline

normally 1 minute per goal in english premier and if its over 4+ goals normally 4/5 minutes added on max for serious injuries alot more can be added.

Aah Maximus, you can drive ahead anyway at a red light if you are someone who makes the rules (or enforces them)

It's not a hard and fast law - it's at the referee's discretion. I doubt either team will bother complaining somehow

I was thinking a 3-way lay of 0-0 HT's - Tigres/Sao Paolo/UDC games, you only need 2 to have a half time goal but if none of them end 0-0 you can easily make a profit.

WoW close one Phew ... Had a couple like that myself always a relieve when it is the refs whistle...

In fact had it the other day in the liverpool game when they were up 4-1 in injury time (Under 5.5) glanced up at the match and seen 1 of the liverpool players hit it into the net then I thought the ref was blowing for the ball to be taken back to center circle to kick off again

then realised he was blowing for full time and that the liverpool player just hit the ball at the end and it happend to go in forget the player mind you just seen the ball smack the back of the net with the keeper still in it Shocked

Had a phase of picking one sided games in Bundesliga for exactly that sort of bet.

Nice was that backing unders late on just Grin

Yep, I'm a fan of odds around the 1.1 mark and you can just pick off the games where one team is winning by at least 3. Beats doing u5.5/4.5 etc and having to wait full 90.

Of course when it goes wrong its spectacularPlain
