I don't know. Me and my bank are still in shock after gingers appointment. If only Kevin Mac hadn't made such a pigs ear of his chance. He does great things with the reserves.

make macdonald the manager. this should have been the plan onc eo'neill left but one bad performance at newcastle and everyone went wobbly. if the plan is to rely on the kids he's clearly the man for the job. season has panned out pretty mucvh as expected. if they don't go down they'll have achieved their apparent aim.
made around 25m profit on milner, downing and young combined and spaffed almost that much on heskey's contract alone. |

We're going to assume Blackburn don't win all their 3 remaining games, starting today, that QPR beat Stoke at home next week and that Villa don't get anything out of their remaining two games vs Spurs and away at Norwich. This leaves QPR and Villa both on 37 points, Villa with the greater goal difference. QPR will need to get something at Man City to send Villa down in this scenario. Villa fans need firstly for Spurs to see of Blackburn to get rid of them finally, and Man City to at least draw (ideally beat)Manure Tommorow so Man City have a strong interest vs QPR in the last match of the season.
Villa look a lot safer now but i've seen many a strange things happen in football so no-one should be counting any chickens. |

seems completely out of the question for me
plus norwich away who will have lost 4 on the spin and can't be bothered shouldn't be too difficult |

Villa are safe for this year, with their better goal difference 37pts will just be enough. Lucky lot they are.
