Sorry for anyone I directed towards the Paddy Power insurance bet (if Norwich won).
Felt a mug when I went to pick up today with my mate who helped himself to a hattrick heaven at Betfred! Interesting stat but I have picked up numerous times this year on Double delight in Liverpool games,Gerard hattrick, maxi, Bellamy (in cup game) Suarez. As well as Van P at Anfield,Cisse and Rooney. May have been more but they are ones I remember because I was on. Another key pointer for me has been the number of front men who score against Liverpool, add Jelavic to those listed. Well done Tobermory and others who said price was about right. Good thing about Betfair is that if you disagree, you can fill your boots, or empty them laying. Reason I had prices as 'about right' is that I try not to over react, and I am a Liverpool Season ticket holder so it has been hard. Like I said, I have had an exceptional year on FGS market, always covering opposition top man if they have one, eg would have covered Holt yesterday. As it was looking at teams I covered Gerard, Suarez and Bellamy as only realistic scorers. Have to admit I was swayed by Green Army bullishness to taking the PP insurance bet, but that is the game. |

you haven't a clue mate, as I said on the other norwich thread (its still here have a look) it doesnt matter 1 squit if liverpool win, what matters is that the price was utterly unrepresentative of the form and the facts etc, there are 100 reasons why certain games turn one way or the other and for you to think you logically foresaw this performance, is well nonsense, fantasy
I dont know why I bother with this as you wont listen more less understand, the fact, and this isnt one of those capital letter cringe inducing attempts at self justification, ie FACT, this is fact as in mathetematically and incontrevertibly and empirically demonstrable fact (get a dictionary) is that if you have laid liverpool all season at these about "about right" prices you have like me, a bucketful of cash, and if you have backed, then, even allowing for saturday, you're well, err a mug.... and poor PS I backed hodgson 1k @ 1.4 last night and have just laid for £180 so this is me in a good mood (yeah right you say, have a look around 10pm on the main hodgson thread, go on, one thing I aint is a storyteller) |

I get the point, I just do not adjust my ratings that quickly.
Have left Liverpool outright market alone all season. Have done well on FGS. Would anyone carry on laying Torres to score????? Carry on laying Arsenal after November???? By the way, I will not be touching Fulham match. I used to bet big, it does bring some aggression into your personality, take it easy. like I said I was swayed by your logic, and yes, Liverpool should have been bigger. I do not get involved on here anymore so can not lay. So that is no longer an option for me. |

songsfordeaf, it looked like Norwich were gone to me, but you never know, maybe it was just a bad day at the office. I can tell you that I wont be backing them to win or even draw any game from now until the end of this season.

eg arsenal odds have always been ok vis-a-vis the stats and adjusted incrementally to their improving form a confidence boost as in torres is a tangible reason for adjusting the odds, liverpool arguments like they lose a lot so they will win soon, or they miss a lot of chances (yes they have **** forwards bar suarez) are plain silly aggressive, nah Im a ****cat, and ive learnt a lot from liverpool punting - always oppose them in a small way but never trade them cos that deluded far east cash just keeps on a rollin in |
